He guiado decenas de tesis de pregrado y participado en diversas tesis de postgrado en carreras y postgrados ligados a las ciencias agropecuarias y, hoy día, ligadas a las ciencias de la salud

Entre los años 2010 y 2022 tuve a mi cargo la dirección de dos proyectos FIC en la región del Maule y de O´Higgins; asi como participé en otros dos y un FONDEF de transferencia tecnológica, cuya área de impacto cubrió las regiones de O´Higgins al Bio-Bio. Entre 1996 y 2002, dirigí un programa de transferencia tecnológica en mejoramiento genético, entre la Universidad de Talca y la empresa forestal Mininco S.A.. Entre 2016 y 2020 dirigí un programa de transferencia tecnológica en el cultivo de álamos, entre la empresa Agrícola y Forestal "ElÁlamo" y la Universidad de Talca. entre 2003 y 2020 dirigí el Centro Tecnológico del Álamo, de la Universidad de Talca.
