With 9 FONDECYT projects granted as Principal and Co- Investigator, Ximena Valdes has contributed to capital formation through mentoring a large number of students and advising graduate and undergraduate thesis.
Ximena Valdés is a contributor to the National Association of Rural and Indigenous Women (ANAMURI), who participate in CEDEM's training programs. Valdés is the head of this research center, and has established a long lasting relationship to ANAMURI, regularly presenting her research results for their debate.
