Desigualdad, desarrollo económico, cambio tecnológico y mercado laboral

In my research I have modeled and estimated technical change (both in the context of skills and tasks), used data on occupations to assess automation risk, built open economy models and models of firm heterogeneity, estimated firm and workers’ productivity from micro-data, and produced model-based counterfactual analyses for different calibrations. I also have acquired significant experience in producing research, presenting in seminars and conferences, establishing networks and research collaboration, submitting articles to journals, managing and delivering a long term research project.

Academia is a social enterprise, where research must be discussed and shared to be of high quality and relevant. My experience presenting my work and organizing academic forums shows my deep awareness of this fact.

I have participated in high-level instances connecting the academia with the wider community of policy makers, business organisations, civil society, and other stakeholders. I am also engaged in dissemination of research and policy analysis through other means like newspapers articles and social media, as well as participating from time to time in radio and press interviews.
