Difusión y Transferencia

During 2010 to 2015 I was in charge of the astronomical observatory at Universidad de Concepcion, where I conducted open and free public astronomical observations, receiving more than 1000 people annually. Also, we visited several remote locations to do astronomical observations such as San Nicolas, Penco, Tome, Tirua, Isla Santa Maria, etc.
In addition, I participated as an assistant professor at “Liceo Polivalente de San Nicolas” (Public High School 120 km away from Concepcion). I presented lectures, astronomical observations and supported the school's astronomy workshop. I worked for 100 hours in this school for free. I have had the opportunity to present numerous public talks to the community, schools and in different locations. I also have participated as a monitor in Concepcion’s popular Congreso Astronomico.
