At Prevet Genomics, I built and led a small multidisciplinary team from the ground up to steady operations. Work centered on defining roles and milestones, creating clear step-by-step documentation, recruiting and onboarding, and mentoring analysts until they could manage analysis and reporting independently. I matched team capacity to timelines and budgets, set simple quality checks, and ensured smooth handovers so projects kept pace without close supervision. In a secondary capacity, I also served as Lab Manager at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, coordinating daily operations and keeping procedures current.
From an idea to a working service, I helped create Prevet Genomics and move academic methods into routine use for veterinary clients. The company secured public funding in Chile through CORFO, including “Súmate a Innovar” 2020 and “Crea y Valida I+D+i” 2021, which supported development and pilot delivery. Results were presented in seminars and conferences and distilled into practical briefs and client-ready reports.
