In the last three years, the number of undergraduate thesis directed is 11, the number of master thesis ditected is 2, the number of Ph.D. thesis directed is 4, the number of professional trainning stays is 2. Participation on Ph.D. and Master thesis committees is 5 and 9, respectively.


Difusión y Transferencia


Several and different activities have been developed in the last three years for dissemination of activities, technology transfer, and research result transfer from projects developed that had impact on Chilean society and/or economy. Specifically, 5 general dissemination articles of research activities and results have been published on specialized Chilean magazines, 5 handbooks on a series for technology transfer of the phytostabilization technology on metal polluted soils and massive solid mine wastes have been published with the support of the company Anglo American Chile, participation in a special TV series on Chilean Mining for dissemination of the phytostabilization technology for general audience was done during the present year, participation on 20 different scientific presentations (either oral or posters) both nationally and internationally have been done, organization and realization of national workshops and seminars on results of relevant research lines and technology transfer for national regulators, mining companies, and reserchers, among others have been performed.
