2016: Representative of Chile during the "Chile Week in China 2016".
2016: Main organizer of the II Industrial Event for Providers for Astronomy (focused on manufacturing companies with interest in astronomy).
2015: Director of the Ckoirama Observatory and related projects to open it to students, teachers, etc. supported by the Regional Government in Antofagasta in 2014 and 2015.

SDSS-IV management recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the survey and have contributed at least a year’s worth of work on SDSS infrastructure with the designation of Architect. Eduardo Unda-Sanzana awarded Architect status for effort including critical work as part of the Chilean Participation Group Executive Committee, and work on Chilean (QUIMAL) grants aimed at developing infrastructure for APOGEE-2S.
