- Organize training for over 200 assessors for the early childhood longitudinal study (ELPI 2012)
- Founded a research center specialized in early childhood. This center unites interdisciplinary professionals working on early childhood ( Centro de Estudios Primera Infancia). The goal of this center is to generate studies as well as to train professionals on early childhood subjects.
The recommendations of a study on early childhood quality indicators were used to develop 2 early childhood programs which will be open next year. This pilot programs will provide quality early childhood education for over 200 children and will be study in order to estimate the effects of quality indicators in children development and learning. These pilots are specially relevant today for public policy considering that regulations for early childhood programs are currently under revision at the Chilean congress.
