Difusión y Transferencia

Since the penetration of distributed generation (DG) is increasing, the future systems should be designed to maximize technical results as well as for maximum benefit for minimum cost. For several reasons, future generation in Chile include many more units of rather smaller size. For now, the penetration of DG on power systems is relatively low, measured either in terms of aggregate system load or available generating capacity. In these past three years, the researcher has been actively engaged in research about the impact of large-scale DG penetration on power distribution networks.
