In the academic field, in the last 3 years, 24 theses of the Civil Engineering career of the University of Bío-Bío have been directed on issues associated with the development of adhesives for solid wood (GLULAM, CLT), adhesives for wooden boards ( PLY, OSB, PB), and laminated elements reinforced by engineering fibers (Carbon Fibers, Glass and Basalt). He has also collaborated as a co-guide for the thesis of students in the Civil Chemical Engineering career (Universidad del Bío-Bío) and the Industrial Design career (Universidad de Chile).

In the field of dissemination and transfer, in the last several research and development projects have been directed (FONDEF, INNOVA BÍO-BÍO, INNOVACHILE), as well as innovation and transfer projects (CORFO, UBB Technical Assistance, MacroFacultad), with the support of various regional and national companies, as well as other educational institutions.
