Graduate thesis directed: 1 (1 Master in Electrical Engineering)
Undergraduate thesis directed: 3 (1 Physics Engineer, 1 Acoustics Engineer, 1 Teacher).
The graduate thesis was related to the characterization and analysis of the UHF-VHF emission from a pulsed plasma discharge. The analysis included the use of Machine Learning algorithms to infer the X-ray emission form the plasma discharge.
The undergraduate thesis were related to spectroscopy. The physics engineer designed and constructed a focusing mirror for grazing incidence spectroscopy of wire array discharges. The acoustic Engineer developed a software based "lock in" system, to be used for photoacoustic spectroscopy. The Teacher developed a teacher's guide and experiment outline for a "mobile phone spectrometer" that was capable of measuring the temperature of the Sun.
