Course abroad
GIS and Hydrology, Hydrological modelling with SWAT. Module taught in a Master's course at the University of Magdeburg, Germany, from 2015 to date.

On the other hand, I have supervised more than 50 undergraduate theses during the last 25 years, I have participated as an examining committee in at least 30 doctoral and master theses and I am currently co-guiding professor or committee of 4 doctoral thesis and 8 master thesis.


Difusión y Transferencia


During the last 25 years I have participated in various technical assistance projects both in Chile and abroad in the following areas: integrated studies in watersheds; studies of water availability under climate change and land use scenarios, studies to support regulatory processes; environmental monitoring; hydroelectric projects; land planning; risk analysis and natural disasters; pulp industry and infrastructure works.

I was a member of the advisory committee for the update of the Energy Policy, Ministry of Energy during 2020, as well as a member for 6 years of the Council of Civil Society Organisations of the Ministry of Agriculture. I was part of the advisory committee on climate change and the advisory committee on water resources of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation for 4 years. I am currently a member of the expert advisory committee for the update of the long-term infrastructure policy in the Ministry of Public Works.

During my career I have given several lectures related to my area of expertise in schools, and other instances such as forums, congresses, etc.
