1) Profesor director del trabajo de memoria de tesis de Pregrado en la carrera de Ingenieria Civil Matematica, Universidad de Concepcion, conducente al titulo de Ingeniero Civil Matematico, del Sr. Felipe Arnoldo Sanchez Troncoso. El titulo de la tesis es: "Métodos de Galerkin discontinuo para el problema de Stokes y el problema de Helmholtz". La defensa de tesis en cuestion fue llevada a cabo el 8 de Enero de 2018.

2) Profesor co-director del trabajo de memoria de tesis de Magíster en Matemática Aplicada, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, de la Srta. Camila Andrea Campos Mora. El titulo de la tesis es: "Contribuciones al análisis numérico de ecuaciones diferenciales elípticas usando un método de Galerkin discontinuo". Se espera que la Srta. Campos obtenga su grado de Magister en el transcurso del presente año 2020.

3) Profesor asesor externo del trabajo de tesis de Doctorado en Ciencias con mención en Matemática, Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Lima, Perú, del Sr. Jonathan Alfredo Munguia La Cotera. El título de la tesis es: "Hybrid high order methods for elliptic problems". En este momento, la tesis se encuentra en revisión. Se espera que el Sr. Munguia obtenga su grado de Doctor en el presente año 2020.
