My academic training follows a trajectory shaped by international experience and interdisciplinary research. I completed my PhD through the Erasmus Mundus scholarship program, a competitive EU initiative that supported doctoral work at a research-oriented European university and allowed me to engage with diverse academic traditions and methodologies. With a background in the social sciences and humanities, I developed the ability to work across languages, disciplines and institutional contexts. After that, I was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) where I led an independent research project with comparative case studies in Europe and the United States. These experiences strengthened my methodological and conceptual tools as well as my capacity to manage complex research independently. Now based at a university in Chile, I work on questions related to science, technology and natural resources, engaging with regional challenges while remaining part of wider academic conversations. This line of work is consolidating into a research agenda that aligns well with the goals of ANID.
