Mientras fui presidente del comité científico de la Sociedad Chilena de Nefrología diseñe e implemente un curso denominado Bases Científicas de la Nefrología para todos los becados de nefrología de adultos y pediatricos del país, y que es parte del programa oficial del programa universitario de nefrología .Este curso va ya en su decima versión y han atendido mas de 70 becados

Como integrante de la comisión de expertos nombrada por el ministerio de salud he participado en la confección de las vuias clínicas dd prevnción de progresión de ERC de el 2010 y 2017
