• Overarching Project: Reshaping urban food retail environments for prevention of childhood overweight in East Asia and Pacific.
• Funding source: United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), $862,639.18 USD, of which $55,882.00 USD are specific to the Thailand project.

• Main responsibilities:
o Support the Government of Thailand with the design of a food classification system to support the gradual implementation of a draft food marketing bill. Lead the validation of this food classification system using data on pre-packaged foods available in Thailand. Lead the development of supporting documentation for government officials and policymakers and the write-up and submission of research outputs.

• Specific Project: Priorities and capacity needs for Governments in the East Asia and Pacific region related to the prevention of childhood overweight and obesity.

Co-lead data collection, data analysis, and reporting of results, as well as the development and delivery of capacity building supports to governments across the region.
