During my doctoral studies at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Universidad de Concepción (Chile), I actively contributed to the training of students in advanced materials characterization techniques. I delivered educational sessions and laboratory demonstrations on Raman spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as visiting school groups. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided instrument use, I helped students understand the operational principles of these analytical techniques and interpret experimental data obtained from real material systems.
In addition to laboratory training activities, I also gained formal teaching experience as a Physics instructor at David Memorial Intermediate College (India), where I taught core topics including mechanics, optics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, and introductory electronics to high-school students. This role involved structured classroom teaching, curriculum-aligned instruction, and fostering conceptual understanding of physics fundamentals. These activities reflect my commitment to training human capital through both higher education mentoring and formal classroom teaching.
I have actively disseminated research findings through peer-reviewed publications, international conferences, and scientific outreach activities. I have authored and co-authored several scientific articles and book chapters in international journals and academic publications related to biosensors, nanomaterials, green synthesis, and biomedical applications. I have also presented my research at multiple international conferences, including the International Materials Research Congress (Mexico), the International Conference on Sensors and Microsystems (India), and the International Conference on Materials Science and Nanotechnology (Spain), where I delivered oral and poster presentations.
Beyond academic dissemination, I have contributed to knowledge transfer through outreach initiatives. In collaboration with the NGO Friends with Helping Hands, I conducted a scientific outreach session for school students aimed at encouraging scientific thinking, addressing superstitions through scientific explanations, and motivating students with limited exposure to scientific role models to pursue education and careers in science. These activities reflect my commitment to promoting scientific literacy and transferring knowledge beyond the academic community.

ANID FONDECYT Postdoctoral Fellowship
UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE
Chile, 2026
I obtained the FONDECYT Postdoctoral Fellowship (2026–2029) funded by the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID), Chile. This competitive fellowship supports my postdoctoral research project focused on the solid-phase synthesis of biodegradable double-imprinted molecularly imprinted polymer nanoparticles for targeted doxorubicin delivery to VEGF-overexpressing cancer cells. These distinctions reflect recognition of my research contributions and my potential to advance biomedical materials and biosensor technologies.
