Formación de Capital Humano

I have supervised three doctoral students through successful Ph.D projects, along with one Masters student. I am currently supervising five other doctoral students, along with three undergraduate students, all on projects related to the detection and characterisation of planetary systems and their host stars.

I host a weekly meeting of students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty members called the New Worlds Group. Here we discuss research, the latest news in the field, tutorials on the subject, etc.

I also coordinate the graduate student program at the Department of Astronomy of the Universidad de Chile, allowing me to aid all students in the department with their studies.

Difusión y Transferencia

I host a group website, called the New Worlds Lab, and we are regularly features in the mainstream media, primarily TV, radio, and newspapers. Furthermore, I have personal YouTube channel, called Science Violation, where I discuss various research works in astronomy and astrophysics, including recently completed works from our group.
