Between year 2011 and 2013, I am co-advising 2 doctoral thesis, 1 at the
Faculdade de Física, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do
Sul, Porto Alegre, Brasil, and 1 at the Universidade Federal de Caerá,
Fortaleza, Brasil.
I have also advised 6 master theses (1 thesis in the Master of Science,
Computer Science, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Sciences, FCFM and 5
theses in the Master in Informatics in Education Program, Faculty of
Social Sciences, FACSO, University of Chile). Also, I have advised 5
undergraduate theses and co-advised 2 undergraduate theses for Civil
Engineering in Computer Science students at the Faculty of Physics and
Mathematics Sciences, FCFM, University of Chile.
In the same line, during this period I have taught regularly
Human-Computer Interaction and Usability courses for graduate Civil
Engineering in Computer Science students and postgraduate, Master and
PhDs, at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics Sciences, FCFM, University
of Chile.
I have been involved intensively in dissemination and transfer activities
of our research grants. All our software applications and videogames
developed for learning and cognition are being distributed in schools,
centers for people with disabilities, universities, and Ministry of
Education in Chile. We have also disseminated and transferred these
software applications for daily use in the same type of institutions to
Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, United States of America, France,
México, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela
We have also trained intensively teachers and facilitators trough courses,
seminars and workshops, concerning the methodological use of these
software applications.
