He dirigido 10 tesis de pregrado y 4 tesis de doctorado (terminadas). Actualmente dirijo 3 alumnos de doctorado nuevos. Además he dirigido 23 seminarios de investigación y prácticas de alumnos de pregrado.


Difusión y Transferencia


Poseo una patente aceptada en Chile y 3 solicitudes de patente internacionales en el area de control de patógenos en cultivos frutales. En cuanto a difusión he participado en múltiples cursos de innovación, seminarios, ferias, difusión en redes sociales, y varios artículos en medios escritos y virtuales.

    El premio, entregado anualmente por la I- APS, tiene como objetivo facilitar y promover la participación de investigadores jóvenes (hasta 35 años) en Latinoamérica. El Premio Giusseppe Cilento es otorgado anualmente desde 1996, y lleva su nombre en honor al profesor de la Universidad de Sao Paulo, quien fue uno de los principales científicos pionero en fotobiología en Sudamérica. Fue mentor de muchos estudiantes e investigadores y la amplitud de sus intereses de investigación es un reflejo directo del enfoque interdisciplinario que le dio a la ciencia
