During the DAAD scholarship in 2008, I organized a postgraduate course in Tropical and Travel Medicine, which was not available before in Chile. This course was repeated during the scholarship in 2010. Since then this postgraduate course was organized by me every 2 years (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019) and had over 260 alumni. Since 2019, the course is organized in cooperation with the Chilean Society of Infectious Diseases (SOCHINF), the Chilean Ministry of Health, and OMS/OPS Chile.

Since 2015, I serve as an adviser in malaria and other tropical diseases for the Chilean Ministry of Health and have since then participated in numerous courses and lectures of over Chile with topics related to Tropical and Travel Medicine.
