He participado activamente en la formación de capital humano avanzado en salud y ciencias biomédicas, dirigiendo tesis de pregrado, magíster y doctorado, así como entrenando médicos residentes en ginecología oncológica. He sido mentor directo de más de 70 profesionales, incluyendo especialistas, estudiantes de doctorado y postdoctorado. Además, he liderado programas de educación continua y diplomados en ginecología oncológica, así como cursos de actualización para matronas, médicos generales y especialistas. Entre 2016 y 2024, me desempeñé como Director de Investigación y Posgrado en la Facultad de Medicina de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, impulsando políticas de fortalecimiento académico y científico a nivel institucional.

He promovido activamente la difusión y transferencia del conocimiento a través de más de 60 conferencias en congresos nacionales e internacionales, y la publicación de más de 50 capítulos de libros y artículos en revistas científicas indexadas. He sido editor principal y coeditor de textos clínicos y guías de práctica en ginecología, con impacto directo en la formación profesional y en la atención en salud. Además, he contribuido al diseño de guías clínicas nacionales para el manejo del cáncer cervicouterino y endometrial, en colaboración con el Ministerio de Salud de Chile, fortaleciendo la implementación de políticas públicas basadas en evidencia. También he participado en proyectos de innovación y desarrollo con potencial de aplicación clínica, como estrategias terapéuticas personalizadas en cáncer de ovario, con apoyo de fondos CORFO y FONDEF.
