Education Award: Teaching Innovation Centre, Universidad de Los Andes, Chile - Project: “Integrating Evidence-Based Practice across undergraduate nursing curriculum” - This award allowed a short visit as a visiting professor to McMaster University in Canada, where different meetings were held with the staff to discuss the best strategies for teaching evidence-based practice in undergraduate degrees. As a result, the updated nursing curriculum (approved in 2020) incorporated evidence-based practice outcomes across it and strengthened nursing education and research courses.
