Título del trabajo: "EFFECTS OF A NOVEL ASCORBATE-BASED PROTOCOL ON INFARCT SIZE AND VENTRICLE FUNCTION IN ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION PATIENTS UNDERGOING PERCUTANEOUS CORONARY ANGIOPLASTY"

Este trabajo fue presentado por el Dr. Rubén Aguayo Nayle y recibió el Primer Lugar en el evento realizado en el Hospital San Juan de Dios en Mayo, 2019

Programa IFMSA: El Laboratorio de nestrés Oxidativo ha recibido varios estudiantes extranjeros interesados en realizar una pasantía de un mes en el laboratorio trabajando en biomarcadores de estrésnoxidativo nen pacientes con infartoagudo de miocardio sometidos a angioplastía coronaria percutánea. Los estudiantes procedían de: Alemania, Polonia, Eslovenia, Finlandia, Brasil, Estados Unidos y Mexico. Todos prepararon una presentación en Inglés en un seminario del Laboratorio, comunicando los resultados obtenidos frente a los ayudantes alumnos y docentes.

TRANSFERENCIA:

OBTENCIÓN DE UNA PATENTE DE INVENCIÓN.
Durante la ejecución del estudio pre-clínico de cardioprotección, realizada mediante el Proyecto FONDEF IdeA, primera etapa número ID15I10285: "“Novedosa estrategia farmacológica para prevenir el daño por reperfusión en la angioplastia coronaria aplicada al infarto agudo de miocardio“ se gestionó la tramitación de una patente de invención del preparado cardioprotector utilizado en el modelo de Langendorff de corazón aislado de rata. En esta patente figuran rangos de concentración de los 3 fármacos utilizados. La patente en Chile se adjudicó en enero 2018, segun consta en el certificado de título extendido por INAPI y que se proporciona en el Anexo....Una vez realizados los estudios de Fases I y II se podrá conocer las concentraciones específicas, con las cuales se formulará el preparado farmacéutico a tramitar en USA y la Unión Europea durante le ejecución de la nueva propuesta a FONDECYT 2021.
