The Border Science Program is promoted by The Chilean Academy of Sciences, in order to recognize the excellence and potential of young scientists in different areas of science and link them to the activities of the Academy. The main objectives of this program are to stimulate interdisciplinary scientific discussion, the creation of links and the development of joint initiatives by the new generations of Chilean scientists. and promote the contact of this group of young Chilean scientists with scientists who participate in similar programs in other countries (International Academy of Young Scientists, TWAS, NAS or others). Along with this, it is expected that in the near future the selected group will be integrated and collaborate in the activities of the Academy.
