Difusión y Transferencia

Dr. Quilaqueo since she did her undergraduate studies has participated in initiatives that link science with society. In this context, in 2007 she participle in “Programa Explora CONICYT” as an instructor, sharing her knowledge with young students. In 2016, while an undergraduate student, she was recognized as an outstanding student with the best academic performance in her generation. In the years 2006 and 2007 she wanted to be a contributor to the university and to learn about teaching, thus, was a teaching assistant in 3 subjects. After finalizing her undergraduate studies, she was awarded with the “Premio Facultad de Ingeniería, Ciencias y Administración”, highlighting her great human quality, dedication, and academic performance. As a result of diverse research in which Dr. Quilaqueo has participated, she has exposed their research findings in more than 4 national congresses and 4 international congresses. Dr. Quilaqueo has participated in several science fairs (ferias científicas) that have convened students from primary and secondary education of Región de La Araucanía, in Chile. Moreover, Dr. Quilaqueo has participated in activities that have allowed students from primary and secondary education to visit the University and Laboratory. Dr. Quilaqueo really enjoys learning and teaching science.
