Difusión y Transferencia

Chileans live mostly in urban environments; despite rapid economic growth, cities are ineffective in providing efficient, equitable and sustainable transport systems, nor support healthy living in terms of facilitating physical activity, recreation and access to healthy foods. The rapid growth of motorization coupled with an inadequate public transport system and loss of public spaces are topics of public concern. Thus our findings will be of interest not only to researchers but to society at large, and thus will help catalyze changes to enhance human and social development.
