Formación de Capital Humano


En los años que he trabajado como académico universitario he sido participado en la formación de un gran numero de Nutricionistas (egresados de la Universidad de Chile). Siendo profesor encargado o coordinador de asignaturas tales como alimentos, bioquímica nutrición, etc. o como académico responsable de proyectos de investigación de estudiantes de pre-grado. Adicionalmente, durante mi labor académica he formado a 22 estudiantes de magíster en Nutrición y Alimentos o Calidad e Inocuidad Alimentaria. Todos han finalizado su formación. Cuatro de ellos continuaron con estudios de Doctorado en Nutrición y Alimentos, y tres actualmente son docentes universitarios (Universidad de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y Universidad de Antioquia). Finalmente, en la actualidad 4 estudiantes están realizando su tesis doctoral bajo y 4 de magister mi dirección.


Difusión y Transferencia


Presentaciones (conferencias) en diferentes congresos relacionados con medicina, nutrición, alimentos y salud en general. Respecto al rol de los lipidos y la nutrición para asegurar el adecuado crecimiento y desarrollo de un individuo, así como en la prevención y/o tratamiento de enfermedades.
